A joyful birthday party turned into a nightmare in Kokosi last week.
Family members celebrated a birthday at a house in Extension 6 on March 30. At about 23:25, however, two unknown men walked in, interrupting the happy occasion.
The armed intruders started barking orders at the family. They pointed their guns at them while demanding cell phones and money, while two accomplices stood guard at the gate. The robbers grabbed ten cell phones and proceeded to search the house. They also took liquor from the fridge and even grabbed a cooler box of liquor.
One thug hit a victim on his forehead with a gun, while another fired a shot into the air.
The police’s Trio Task Team is investigating the case.
