House robbers strike in Dolomite Drive

The thugs gained entry and escaped through a window that they forced open.

House robbers struck a family on Dolomite Drive in Carletonville on 5 March.

The homeowner (61) and her two sons were asleep when a group of thugs in their room woke them up during load shedding at about 01:55.

Fortunately, the mother remained calm and immediately pushed the panic button. The robbers only managed to grab the family’s cell phones. They then fled through the same window in the television room they had forced open to gain entry.

The Carletonville police are investigating a house robbery case.
