Carletonville business robbed

Robbers struck a business near the Carletonville taxi rank on 8 December.

The manager and staff of Cash and Carry on Zeolite Street were busy in their shop at about 12:40.

Suddenly, four unknown men walked in.

Two of them pulled out firearms and quietly gathered the staff and took them to the cash hall.

“We want money and cell phones,” they demanded.

The thugs took money, cell phones and cigarettes, and walked out again in such an unassuming way that they customers did not even notice that anything out of the ordinary had happened.

Luckily no one was injured.
