MTN launches a new range of Yellow Plans
MTN’s new Yellow Plans offer connectivity without the complexity
Today, MTN announced the launch of its new range of consumer Yellow Plans, designed to offer connectivity with simplicity at affordable prices. All the plans provide anytime data and minutes to call all networks to ensure our customers use their benefits to the maximum.
MTN has embarked on a journey of radical simplification with the launch of its Mobile and Home Internet portfolios in 2023, which keep customers connected on the go or at home. With a clear focus on transparency, these plans introduced five new transparent plans per portfolio and removed the complexities of multiple data bundles, night data, or site-specific restrictions.
The positive customer response to our simplified Home and Mobile Internet portfolios proved to be a game changer for our customers with the new Yellow Plans catering to mobile phone users using the same approach.
“Yellow Plans are well aligned to the strategy of radical simplification, which ushers in a new era of simplicity to MTN’s contract offers,” says Bertus Van der Vyver, MTN SA General Manager: Residential and Postpaid.
“After listening to what our customers wanted from their voice and data packages, MTN developed Yellow Plans which we believe are the most user-friendly mobile contracts offered in South Africa. Swept away are the complex add-ons and the splits between voice-centric and data-centric offers, further complicated with all-net and on-net minutes or specific time bound data”, says Van der Vyver.
The new integrated Yellow Plans, ranging from R99 per month to R399 per month, will be available to new and existing customers and allow customers to share data with up to five MTN numbers.
Taking simplicity even further, contract customers can also choose to sign up for Yellow Plans on month-to-month SIM-Only offers with the flexibility to cancel anytime. The Yellow Plans are also bundled with the latest smartphones on 24- or 36-month contracts. Customers can also look forward to exciting launch promotions on selected devices.
