Merafong artists empowered at Music Masterclass

Our local artists are not sitting still.

Local artists attended a Masterclass music workshop that took place on Tuesday October 1 at the AMPD Studios based at Newtown Johannesburg.

The workshop featured SA Female Hip Hop Queen known as Nadia Nakai, who is also a media personality and a prominent business woman.

The workshop was brought by MTN Pulse in partnership with AMPD Studios which aimed to empower young entrepreneurs through providing a one on one engagement with the superstar.

The Boss lady of Hip Hop had a conversation with a renowned entrepreneur Miles Khubeka and she shared about her journey in the world of music as well as entrepreneurship and addressed the audience in regards to building a strong personal brand. Among some of the interesting topics she touched on she also spoke about the importance of artists venturing into entrepreneurship as a way of sustaining their livelihoods and she also went into details of the music business as well as challenges she has faced in the fashion industry and manufacturing world.

The Master class was very informative as the audience walked away with very empowering and exclusive information to help further their careers. There was then a chance for the audience to ask questions during the powerful session before the Master class was concluded and the vibrant crowd dispersed.

The platform is making a big impact in the lives of up-coming creative people from all walks of life as there are different entrepreneurs and media personalities that have been featured in the Masterclasses such as the well-respected DJ Sbu, Palesa Mokubung and many more. The young entrepreneurs are given the opportunities to learn about launching startups or scaling their businesses, real world strategies, harnessing the power of their personal stories for success, building brands, using authenticity as a tool for meaningful connections, growth, turning creativity into money and leading with confidence and style.

AMPD Studios is a Youth Hub that is focused on giving young people a chance to become professionals in the creative industry and it is a powerful networking space for aspiring artists as well as entrepreneurs with a strong desire to get into the entertainment industry. Local artists such as Vibration Taylor were very grateful for the opportunity to be invited to join the Master class and to receive game changing knowledge as well as to network with other up-coming artists and entrepreneurs who also establishing their careers professionally.
