Armed robbers target Carletonville store

Armed robbers usually get more active in the Carletonville CBD as we start to head to the end of the year.

A business in the Carletonville CBD was targeted by robbers this week.

The owner (71) was busy with routine tasks inside the store on Annan Road near Flint Street at 13:20 on September 27.

Suddenly, eight unknown African men stormed into the store. They grabbed the owner and staff and forced them into a room at the back of the shop.

The men then grabbed clothes to the value of more than R140 000 before running from the scene.

Luckily no one was injured.
