Young Carletonville rappers collaborate on mixtape

This release speaks to people of various languages.

A young female rapper from Carletonville, Angela Meletse known as Angelo A.K.A Superstarra has released a collaboration mixtape with another hardworking young rapper, Kid Stonner.

The project is titled Slolo Le Strata. The title comes from the change of South African languages used in the songs as it is a mixture of isiXhosa, Sotho, Tswana and English. Slolo Le Strata is an introduction of their way of expression to the world.

They were also able to get other versatile musicians to come and represent their language and styles in writing, such as Certified Genius, UMNTUNGWAMBULAZI and Amaru Iverson.
The tape was produced by Certified Genius with Co-production from Exotic X and he made a few of the hottest hits in the tape.

The rappers have further hosted a successful listening session at 98 Kaolin street
(Thrift Cuisine) on August 24 were they also brought UMNTUNGWAMBULAZI as guest artist. The reception from the fans has been very positive and they are really glad that people are
gravitating towards the project as they put much effort and time in creating it.

A music video for a song titled ‘’witch-craft’’ recently dropped on YouTube and they actually think that’s one of the leading songs from the tape and they plan on shooting a lot more for this project.
