Woman dies after senseless shooting
As far as could be determined the two women were attacked without warning.
A woman died in hospital last week after she was shot in Blyvooruitzicht recently.
The victim (31) and her friend were driving in Blyvoor on August 9 when they decided to pull off on the side of the road to relieve themselves.
Both are residents of Blyvooruitzicht.
They stopped near Rockland Primary School and had just walked into the veld when someone fired shots at them.
The victim was hit, but her friend managed to get her to Carletonville Hospital. Due to the seriousness of her injuries the victim was later transferred to Leratong Hospital. She passed away in this hospital on August 12.
The police in Carletonville are now investigating a murder case.
