Another taxi man murdered in Carletonville
Several of these crimes took place recently.
Another member of the Carletonville Local and Long Distance Taxi Association (CALLTA) was killed.
This crime took place in Onyx Drive next to the Carletonville Taxi Rank on July 31.
The police were called to the scene at about 18:50.
They found the 36-year-old victim lying on the driver’s side of a Toyota Quantum minibus taxi. There were several bullet holes in the driver’s window and the deceased died after being hit in the head and upper body.
This case is also being investigated by the police’s special taxi violence unit.
