A resident of Blybank passed away this weekend after a stabbing incident. The incident happened in Hornbill Street last week Sunday.
Paramedics were called to the scene at around 06:30 and immediately notified the police.
Upon arrival, they found that the man was already dead. He was lying inside his room with a stab wound on the right side of his head.
Bystanders told the police that the deceased man, Philip Ramosatana (26), was with his girlfriend and the alleged suspect, a Lesotho national.
An argument broke out between Ramosatana and the suspect stabbed him.
He then grabbed a bag and fled the scene.
