International model representing Carletonville

She has already excelled at various pageants.

Busi Sambo, an International Junior Miss South Africa, is still in pursuit of her professional modelling career since beginning her journey in 2015 with Mr And Mrs Danie Theron.

She mentioned that she was inspired by the event although she did not win anything for the first three competitions but she kept going because she wanted to win so badly.

Her first big competition was Mini Miss RSA in 2017 where she won for the first time with the title of 1st Princess. Her greatest achievement was representing South Africa in Lesotho for Queen of Globe International and she highlights winning Queen of the World at OR Tambo Airport as well as Miss Johannesburg and Miss Gauteng.

She is currently looking forward to going overseas at Europe after being scouted by a South African modelling agent after participating in a competition several years back. She was then informed through a letter that she has been selected to represent SA as she will be part of the international contestants for Little King and Queen World 2024 from 23 to 30 June which will take place in Burgas at Bulgaria.

“I’m very excited to meeting new people internationally and I’m also looking forward to another trip which will be a boat cruise to Durban,” she expressed.

Busi will also be hosting her own event as she has also been pursuing her event organising career.

The event will be a competition to bring schools together in order to see who the best models are in the Merafong area. The aim of the event is to provide a platform for students to showcase their talents, celebrating diversity and foster cultural exchange in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
