Youth invited to career expo
The event will take place at the Carletonville Youth Centre on Saturday.
Reamogetse Katlego NPC invites Merafong’s youth to its second edition of a career expo at Carletonville Youth Centre on 18 May to learn about different careers.
This year, the expo focuses on people’s intentions when choosing careers, where participants can identify three career choices. Besides a career coach, universities, colleges, private companies and skills development organisations like the Sector Education and Training Authorities (Seta) will also engage the youth regarding careers and opportunities.
Online applications are available for learnerships, scholarships and internships.
Reamogetse Katlego focuses on youth development through career expos and hosts singing competitions, stationery drives and fundraisers. It calls on young people in high school, matriculants, graduates and job seekers to seize the opportunity.
