Robbers strike furniture store

The armed robbers fled on foot.

Armed robbers struck a furniture chain store in Carletonville last weekend.

Employees of the Bradlows branch at Carletonville Mall were busy in the store on Saturday, 27 April.

Three men walked in at approximately 12:45.

Although they initially pretended to be customers, they suddenly pulled out firearms and pointed them at the staff.

The robbers forced the staff into the storeroom and locked them inside.
They then grabbed eight cell phones and a television before running away.

Luckily, there were no injuries.
