House robbers threaten resident

House robbers were again active in Carletonville this week.

A resident from Letaba Street in Carletonville had a harrowing ordeal this week.

The owner of the house (50) was at her home when the incident took place at on Wednesday 31 January.

She suddenly heard a loud noise at a front door and when she went to check, saw two men inside the house.

One of the Xhosa-speaking thugs wielded a piece of iron and they forced the owner to lie down.

They grabbed two television sets, a cellphone, laptop and money and ran from the scene.

The police are investigating a business robbery case.
