House robbers strike in Bornite Street

Carletonville residents should remain alert as house robbers were active in our town again this week.

The latest incident happened on Bornite Street on Saturday, 5
August.
The owner woke up at approximately 01:30 and heard footsteps in the house. Suddenly, an unknown man burst into his room with a flashlight and a gun, pointing it at the victim.
“Keep quiet, or I will call my friends,” the thug threatened.
He then searched the man’s room and took his money and cell phone. The robber’s accomplices stole the victim’s television before running away.
The gang is suspected to have been involved in other house robberies in Carletonville recently.
