Water problems at Carletonville Hospital

Carletonville Hospital warns that it has problems with its water supply.

“Please be informed that the hospital has limited pressurized water supply. The current municipal piped pressure is able to provide tapped water to our ground floor and exterior taps.

The hospital relies on a reservoir-based water distribution system and a recent electrical surge has caused damage to our water pump.

This limits our ability to pump water to our reservoirs which then prevents downward flow of water to the higher floors of the facility.

Management has escalated the matter to the Department of Infrastructure Development and a contractor is active on site with the repair process,” says the Hospital’s CEO, Mr Josias Naidoo.
