House robbery in Dolomite

House robbers struck Carletonville again this week.

The latest incident happened on Dolomite Street on Saturday, 24 June.
The 37-year-old resident of the house was in his room when he suddenly heard voices inside at about 09:30. He walked into the passage and ran into an unknown man.
The intruder immediately pointed a firearm at him.
The resident turned around, ran to his bedroom and pretended to call the police. He then heard a vehicle pulling away and saw a black Volkswagen Polo with two male occupants speeding off.
The robbers had gained entry to the house through the unlocked back door. They fled with the resident’s sound system.
