Business owner in Carletonville arrested for buying stolen cables

The police arrested the owner of a Carletonville business this week for buying stolen copper cable.
According to the Carletonville police, they received information that a new scrap metal business at 19B Botha Street in Oberholzer was buying stolen copper cables from thieves. They searched the business on 23 June and found some of the cables on the premises.
Police confiscated the stolen goods and arrested the business owner, an immigrant from Cameroon, on the spot.
