Carletonville police’s communication officer, WO Peter Masooa, says the incident happened on Sunday, 29 May.
The resident was driving his silver Toyota Etios with the registration number HPM463FS on Agnew Road at approximately 20:15 when the incident happened. As he approached Reinecke Street, a white VW Polo stopped in front of him.
Two men jumped out of the Polo and pointed firearms at him. The thugs, who spoke Zulu and Sotho, pulled him from his vehicle and took him to a nearby veld. They forced him to undress and took his clothes, both cell phones and his laptop, leaving him naked in the veld.
They then sped off with his Etios.
