Childhood hearing loss often goes undetected for years and is only diagnosed and treated once the children struggle with schoolwork.
Hearcare Fountain Hospital also offers hearing tests for industrial workers to determine work fitness and monitors their hearing.
Hearing loss is very common in seniors and is often associated with memory loss. Hearing loss can be caused by many different conditions like ageing, high blood pressure, ototoxic medications, stress and trauma, exposure to loud noise and diabetes. The hospital also provides hearing aids to enhance hearing and memory and promote healthy communication. A variety of the latest technology is on offer at Hearcare Fountain Hospital.
