Residents of this area have been complaining of an increase in criminal activities during the past few months. On Saturday night it was the turn of the government-run flower farm Merafong Flora to be targeted. Security guards say that they were overpowered by a group of men. The proceeded to break into one of the buildings at the site. The criminals stole about 10 metres of copper cable.
