Hijackers are suddenly favouring the road past Blybank.
According to the Carletonville police, the latest incident occurred at about 15:30 on Friday, 22 October.
The owner of a Volkswagen Polo Trendline stopped on the side of the road to relieve himself. He was still standing outside his vehicle when a white Nissan Almera stopped behind him.
Several men jumped out and forced the motorist back into his car. At least one of the thugs were armed.
They drove the owner to a place near Randfontein, where they dropped him on the side of the road. Police suspect these thugs are the same group who hijacked another Polo owner on the N14 two days earlier.
They ask motorists to be very careful and not to stop on the roadside.
