Mythology Arts Foundation shoots new film

Mythology Film Productions has started shooting a new short film around Khutsong, Carletonville and Welverdiend.

Mythology did Khutsong proud with a series of achievements after being nominated for the best-produced film in the 48-hour film competition last year.
The group was nominated for their short film titled ‘’The Nomads’’. It was screened at the competition and is available on the competition’s YouTube channel.
The organisation is led by Mr Peter Ramaine, aka Mavahatar, the director and writer of the theatre plays and the films they have been working on.
They started shooting in Khutsong on Monday, 11 October, in preparation for the Rode Reel international film competition in America. They are currently still in the production phase, shooting footage around Khutsong, Carletonville and Welverdiend for the entire week. They will submit their film next Wednesday. “We are trying to make sure we meet the deadline,” said Mavahatar.
“The untitled work is a horror film and the actors have brought their A-game onto the set,” he added.
