10-year-old from Carletonville publishes book

While many other ten-year-olds were busy playing, a boy of the same age from Carletonville was already hard at work writing his first small motivational book.
The young achiever, Nkazimulo Madonsela, says he likes to talk to other people and inspire them. Nkazimulo, a Gr. 4 learner at Westfields Primary School, started his 14-page book, called “Steps to Success: Principles of life from a 10-year-old”, in August and completed it with the help of his English teacher and father last week. He has already been selling and handing out copies at church and aims to have it in bookshops soon.
“No matter what, believe in yourself,” is this enthusiastic youngster’s motto and most important advice to others.
Nkazimulo already started his own small business, selling sweets from home three years ago. Unfortunately, his sales went down because of Covid-19. When inter-viewed by the Herald, Nkazimulo could not decide between becoming a motivator, author, businessperson like his mother, Dipuo, or a pastor, like his father, Rev Muzi Madonsela, when he grows up.
Despite his big dreams, he loves watching animation and playing with toy guns.
The youngster, whose achievement was also captured in the national newspaper, the Sowetan, last week, also has his own Facebook page, Nkazi Talks.
