Armed robbers strike internet café

A group of armed robbers caused havoc at an Internet café in Oberholzer over the weekend.

According to the Carletonville police, the incident happened at the shop in Oranje Street at around 17:45 on Sunday, 13 June.
Eight customers were in the shop when four unknown men and a woman walked in. They were all armed with handguns. They immediately ordered everyone in the shop to get down. Three of the suspects watched over them, while the other two went to the cash register.
They grabbed all the money before searching the customers. The thugs took all the money everyone had with them. They also took the employee’s cell phone and six cell phones from the customers before calmly walking out of the business.
They drove away in a new model Toyota Corolla.
