Four injured in a head-on collision at East Driefontein

Three adults and one 2-year-old child have suffered moderate injuries in a head-on collision between two light motor vehicles at East Driefontein outside Carletonville yesterday evening.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 19:19. Another Private Emergency Service was already on-scene treating some of the injured. From the white Toyota involved, a 2-year-old boy and his mother, believed to be in her 30s, were found to have suffered moderate injuries and were treated and transported by ER24 through to Carletonville Provincial Hospital for further care. Two adults from the second vehicle were treated and transported to hospital by the other private service on the scene. They are believed to have also suffered moderate injuries.

The South African Police Services were also on the scene for investigations.
