According to Ross Campbell of ER24 the 39-year-old man has suffered moderate injuries during a suspected Cash-In-Transit robbery in Hawk Street, yesterday afternoon.
ER24 paramedics were on the scene at 12:28 along with the Provincial Emergency Medical Services. Three security guards were found on the scene – one of whom was already been treated by government services. ER24 took over the treatment of the patient, transporting him through to a private hospital in the area. The other two guards are believed to have only suffered minor injuries and were walking around on scene and were also assessed by GPG.
The South African Police Services were on the scene for further investigations.
