During the past day there were 19 new coronavirus cases reported in the Merafong City local municipality area. This brings the total number of cases in our area to 4 307.
Of these infected people 3 953 have already recovered while 107 have died.
In the meantime there were 31 new cases in Mogale City (the Krugersdorp area), which brings their total to 11 759 (of which 11 011 have recovered and 320 have died) and 21 new cases in Rand West City, which brings their total to 6 419 (of which 5 964 have recovered and 185 have died).
