According to the Gauteng department of health only 12 new infections of residents of our area were reported during the past day. This brings the total number of infected residents to 4 270.
Of these people 3884 have recovered while 105 have died. No deaths were reported during the past day.
In the meantime there are now 11 680 people in Mogale City (the Krugersdorp area) who have tested positive for the disease. Of them 10 892 have recovered while 313 have died. There are also 6 361 cases in Rand West City (the Randfontein and Westonaria area). Of these 5 884 have recovered while 179 have died.
