According to the Gauteng department of health there are now 4 014 of our residents who have tested positive for the disease. Of these 3 600 have recovered and 99 have passed away.
One of these patients died during the last day.
In the meantime the total number of coronavirus cases in Mogale City (the Krugersdorp area) has risen to 11 310 and those in Rand West City (the Randfontein and Westonaria area) has increased to 6 112.
