According to the Gauteng department of health there are now 3 527 people who have tested positive for the coronavirus in the Merafong City Local municipal area.
Of these 3 265 have already recovered from the disease. The cases are 17 more than yesterday and no-one from Merafong died of the Covid-19 during the past day.
There are also now 9 943 cases in Mogale City, of which 8 797 have already recovered and 5 133 in Rand West City, of which 4 528 have already recovered.
