According to the police, the businessmen, who come from Pakistan, were busy in VIP Supermarket in Silkaats Drive when the incident took place on the night of Sunday, 6 December. They were doing routine tasks when an unknown number of men stormed in.
Some of the thugs pulled out firearms and shot the one man in his buttocks and the other in his left leg. They then grabbed an undisclosed amount of money before running out. The thugs jumped into a vehicle and sped away.
