According to police spokesperson Sergeant Gertrude Makhale, the incident happened in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Makhale says, “It is alleged that the family was asleep when two unknown suspects entered the house, wearing balaclavas. The men tied up the family subsequently robbing them of their cell phones, laptop and TV.” Makhale says the two men killed a man believed to be the owner of the house before leaving the house. “At this stage the Police are asking for assistance from the community in order to get to the bottom of this gruesome murder.
