According to the investigating officer, Constable Tshepiso Montsho, the body of an African man was found in a slimes dam at Blyvoor on 6 February this year. Up to now, however, no one has been able to identify him.
The man was between 28 and 35 years old and was found naked in the water. A heap of clothes, consisting of blue trousers, a pair of grey jeans, a pair of back shoes and a brown jersey, was found near the dam.
Police believe these items belonged to the deceased. There was also a black plastic bag of popcorn.
