Police looking for attempted rapist

The police warn residents to be on the lookout for a middle-aged man who is wanted in connection with an attempted rape case.

According to a police spokes-person, the victim was going to a shop in the area when she realised a blue sedan was following her. After some time, the driver got out of the vehicle and started pursuing her on foot. He grabbed her from behind and carried her to his car before driving off.
When the suspect started fondling her while they were in the car, she put up a fierce fight. He then took her hand and moved it to his groin. The victim yanked his penis as hard as she could and he started cursing in pain. He then demanded her phone number and let her go. The victim immediately opened a case at the police station.
The suspect is between 50 and 60 years old, of average height and medium build. He has short grey hair and the skin on his arms were red and sunburnt. He was wearing a worn-out T-shirt, blue jeans and black boots.
He was aggressive and spoke English and Afrikaans.
Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspect should contact the investigating officer, WO Frans Tenyane, at 073 806 1656.
