ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene at 06h30 to find the two vehicles on the side of the road, one of them coming to a stop against a tree. The drivers, a man and woman, were found walking around on the scene.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that they had escaped with only minor injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
