A man was left seriously injured Wednesday night in a collision between a motorbike and light motor vehicle on the Annan Road in Carletonville.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 18h30 to find a man lying next to his motorbike. The light motor vehicle that had collided with the bike was parked a short distance away.
The man was assessed and found to have sustained several injuries and was in a serious condition.
Paramedics treated the man and provided him with pain-relief medication before he was transported to Krugersdorp Hospital for further care.
The driver of the light motor vehicle was assessed and found to have escaped injury.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
