Eleven people have been injured this morning after an explosion occurred at a factory in Sasolburg.
ER24 paramedics, along with several other services, arrived on the scene at approximately 08h04.
Upon arrival, emergency services found that the factory had already been evacuated.
Paramedics assessed several bystanders and found that one man had sustained moderate injuries while ten others had sustained minor injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to a nearby medical centre for further treatment.
The details surrounding the explosion are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
