A soccer team from Tsitsiboga Primary School in Khutsong held the area’s name high this season.
The school’s U13 soccer team, coached by Sibusiso Msukwini, were crowned the winners of the Gauteng West District after conquering opponents from all over the region. This made the team proceed to the provincial finals of the Sanlam Kay Motsepe tournament on August 17.
All the regional winners played out for a place in the Nationals during this event, which was held in Pretoria.
Unfortunately, Tsitsiboga did not proceed. They were, however, the best primary school soccer team from our area this season.
