Gospel music video shoot in Carletonville
Our local gospel star gets rewarded for her talent and hard work.
Gospel singer Fikile Muchave received her well-deserved prize – a music video shoot in Carletonville – on Friday, 29 February.
Fikile competed in the “Shine Your Light Gospel Competition, advertised late last year.
The challenge was to remix Johannesburg-based Anita Ilungu’s song, “I am Ruling”. The participants had to submit a video of themselves singing their unique rendition. After four rounds, Fikile made the Top 3 and emerged as the winner. She bagged a professional music video shoot, working with the 2K Vaccine Film Production crew and Anita Ministries that day.
Fikile involved some up-and-coming Khutsong actors, who featured in the storyline of her album title track, “King of Glory”.
The recording happened at various locations throughout the day, ending with prayer and thanksgiving at a house in Ext.16 before the crews departed.
The producers have released the preview of the video for approval, and the official music video will soon be available on YouTube.
The future looks bright for the passionate artist who uses her music to heal people and spread the word of God.
Fikile is busy recording new music and collaborating with other local artists.
