Join the MCLFA CAF License D course and youth soccer day in Khutsong

Footballers in Merafong are not sitting still.

The Merafong City Local Football Association (MCLFA) has been holding a special Confederation of African Football License D course. The training sessions are taking place at Carleton Jones High School.

According to MCLFA’s chairperson Mbuyiselo Zuwani coaches from all over the area are making use of this opportunity to learn more. The final session, that will include some practical lessons, will take place at the Spades Ground in Khutsong on Sunday. All members of the public are welcome to attend.

As part of the event the MCLFA will also hold a special celebration for upcoming soccer players age six to 12. Children who want to attend must show up with shorts, tekkies, soccer boots, a hat or cap and a water bottle.

“There will be life skills programmes, small-sided games and many more fun activities,” says Zuwani.

The day’s action will start at 09:30.
