Funeral policy salesman hijacked in Blyvooruitzicht

Things did not work out for him in Spooktown.

An employee of a national funeral policy almost needed his own product when he ran into trouble in Blyvooruitzicht near Carletonville this week.

This incident took place on September 26.

The 35-year-old man, an employee of the funeral agency Assupol, arrived in Spooktown in Blyvoor at approximately 10:30. He parked in front of the house of a client that had to give him some documents.

The client had just climbed into the passenger side of his Toyota sedan when two other men jumped into the car.

One of the men, who both spoke Sotho, pushed a firearm against the employee’s back and told him to drive off.

They forced the employee to drive to Randfontein, where they dropped him off
