House robbers again struck in our area this week.
The latest incident took place on July 21. A family staying in the “60’s” of Khutsong Extension 5 were at home when they suddenly heard something outside at about 02:20.
The owner of the house looked through a window to see what was going on. As he did this, he looked straight into a masked robber wielding a gun.
“Open the door, otherwise we will kill your wife and children,” the robber threatened.The thugs, three Sotho-speaking men wielding two handguns and a rifle, then stormed into the home.
They were masked with balaclavas.
They grabbed the family’s cellphones before running away.
Luckily no one was injured.
