Carletonville police arrested a man from the Watersedge area for allegedly raping a three-year-old boy.
The incident took place somewhere between 19:22 on July 19 and 08:00 the next morning.
The discovery was made by the child’s mother, who stays at the Madala Side informal housing area.
The matter was reported to the police and the child was referred for medical treatment. The mother’s boyfriend was later arrested.
