For some reason the bend in Ada Street in Carletonville was just too much for several drivers to navigate last weekend.
Early Sunday morning was a busy time at this bend, situated next to the offices of Gladiator Community Protection at the corner with Carbon Street. First a red Renault crashed into a tree stump on the sidewalk.
Shortly afterwards another car bumped into the curve sign next to the barrier on the sidewalk.
Luckily there were injuries.
Motorists must, however, be careful of the curve. As far as could be determined, another accident also occurred at the same place recently.
