A couple from Khutsong Extension 5 became the victims of house robbers this week.
This violent crime took place in the early morning hours of Wednesday 12 June. The owner (47) and his wife were asleep in their home in the 70s of Khutsong Extension 5.
This area close to Welverdiend was without electricity at the time. They were woken up by someone breaking their door open at approximately 00:10.
A group of thugs ran into their room and pointed two pistols and a shotgun at them.
The stole money and two cellphones before running off.
