A gang of house robbers fled with a Mercedes-Benz in an incident this week.
The resident of a house on Falcon Drive in East Driefontein arrived home in his white Mercedes-Benz with a foreign registration number on Thursday, 9 May.
He (45) and his brother parked the car at about 21:00 when five unknown men approached them.
One pointed a firearm at them, and the thugs instructed the two victims to go into the house and get down. They then ransacked the house, taking a television, two cell phones and money. The robbers loaded their loot into the vehicle and raced off.
Luckily, the victims were uninjured.
