Robbers break open doors

They forced the residents to hand over their goods.

House robbers gained entry to a home in the area by breaking several doors open last Sunday morning.

At about 02:00, a resident of 6th Avenue in Blyvoor woke up to someone breaking open the back door of the house where he and other tenants lived.

The robbers, speaking Zulu and Xhosa, broke open the door to each tenant’s room. Both had firearms, while one also wielded a panga.

They forced all the residents to hand over their money and cell phones before running away.
