A Blyvooruitzicht resident died by murder in the town last week.
Residents living in the area of Hill Road heard several gunshots at approximately 21:30 on Thursday. When they investigated, they found the body of a man in front of a house on the street.
The police soon identified him as Mr Lesehae Ntsaga (43). He had been shot nine times and died at the scene.
The Carletonville police are investigating a murder case.
