Carletonville Hospital the only hospital without landlines

Patients and their families must still call the cellphone numbers.

The Department says that 11 of its facilities were still affected by this week. Of them, only Carletonville Hospital is still off.

This is because of the theft of copper cable lines.

“The service provider Telkom will be installing wireless lines in the coming week,” promised the department’s communications head, Motalatale Modiba.

Meanwhile patients and other people who need to get hold of the hospital must call the numbers of the cellphones provided to the staff.
